Board of Directors

The NTRCA Board of Directors is comprised of seven (7) members, all residents in good standing who have volunteered and have been elected by a majority vote of the Neighborhood Representatives at an Annual Meeting.  Board members serve with no pay for 2-year terms. Three (3) board members are elected on even-years (2008, 2010, etc) and four (4) elected on odd-years (2009, 2011, etc.). There are no term limits for board members.

Residents are urged to consider serving on the board, however, responsibilities of board members are numerous and varied. CLICK HERE to review what they are.

I have lived in the Houston area since I was a toddler.  My wife, Laurie, and I have been married for seven years.  We have four children including a set of boy/girl twins.  Our oldest is in kindergarten.  We are active members of Parkway United Methodist Church here in New Territory and have attened there for six years.  We have lived in New Territory for seven years and I have been the Easton Lakes Neighborhood Rep for just over two years.

I earned an A.A.S. in Engineering Drafting Technology from San Jacinto College in 1987 and spent the next several years working in engineering and design as a CAD draftsman. To automate much of my work as a CAD draftsman, I became a self-taught software developer. Finding that to be much more interesting and lucrative, I left the engineering world to develop software in the oil and gas industry for about ten years. Three years ago, while observing the software development industry move over seas even more, I decided that "hands on" service work would be a safer place to earn my livelihood. With that in mind, I started my own computer service company. Read my application.

My husband, Greg, and I have lived in High Meadows since 1997. We have two adult children, Andrew and Sara. Andrew is an EMT and lives in Houston. Sara is a student at Stephen F. Austin State University majoring in Technical Theatre and Interior Design.
I am a native West Virginian. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Accounting. I am a certified teacher in the State of Texas, and I teach Resource (Special Ed) ELA at First Colony Middle School. When time permits, I enjoy reading, genealogy research, cross stitch, and trying to knit. Read my application.

Treasurer
Evan Reindl

Term through January 2010

Director,
Evan Reindl, is a resident of Preston Forest. A native born Houstonian, and at my age that pretty rare around here. Went to U of H and got a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor in Physics. Went to work in the aerospace industry in the heydays of the '60s. Worked on building Polaris nuclear submarines, (never liked the sea trials), Thor Delta missiles at Cape Canaveral and the Skybolt missile at Eglin AFB in Florida. Worked on the space simulators that trained the astronauts to get to the moon and back.

Returned to U of H and received my MBA. Went to work in the construction industry, cycled through the accounting department and decided that I like accounting so I became a CPA. Worked in the financial departments of the marine transportation industry, offshore oil platform design industry, and commercial real estate property management. Along the way I learned about the financial planning industry and became a Certified Financial Planner. Finally started working for myself a couple of decades ago doing monthly accounting for clients and tax returns for companies and individuals.

My wife Carolyn and I have been dating, off and on, (mostly off), for 53 years. We were high school sweethearts and finally got it right and were married 10 years ago. Together we have five children and six grandchildren and I'm the husband of a great grandmother, but I'm not old enough to be a great grandfather. (Now I'm dead meat).
