I have lived in
the Houston area since I was a toddler. My wife, Laurie, and I have
been married for seven years. We have four children including a set of
boy/girl twins. Our oldest is in kindergarten. We are active members
of Parkway United Methodist Church here in New Territory and have
attened there for six years. We have lived in New Territory for seven
years and I have been the Easton Lakes Neighborhood Rep for just over
two years.
I earned an
A.A.S. in Engineering Drafting Technology from San Jacinto College in
1987 and spent the next several years working in engineering and design
as a CAD draftsman. To automate much of my work as a CAD draftsman, I
became a self-taught software developer. Finding that to be much more
interesting and lucrative, I left the engineering world to develop
software in the oil and gas industry for about ten years. Three years
ago, while observing the software development industry move over seas
even more, I decided that "hands on" service work would be a safer place
to earn my livelihood. With that in mind, I started my own computer
service company.
